To display its extraordinary power reserve in a unique and innovative manner, Hublot has developed a new horological construction in which the conventional mainplate has been replaced by elongated bridges attached on both sides to a ring that serves as the foundation for the movement. This original approach, combined with skeletonized components, imparts a three-dimensional effect and impressive depth to the manufacture calibre HUB1201 – whether viewed from the case side or from the caseback.

KERAMIK

For Hublot, materials are an integral part of watch design. They must complement the design, protect the movement, and withstand the test of time. Therefore, the manufacture has decided to employ high-tech ceramic for certain bezels and cases; an extremely resistant and nearly scratch-resistant material (with the exception of diamond) based on zirconium, which is sintered at very high temperatures.
