With the development of its own automatic chronograph movement, Hublot sought – as with all its creations – to craft something first, different, and utterly unique. As the soul of the timepiece, this 'open heart' calibre reveals its entirely redesigned architecture, featuring a dual-clutch system and a switching wheel on the dial side, along with a 72-hour power reserve. Its construction of 354 components has been refined as far as possible to enhance reliability and robustness.

KERAMIK

For Hublot, materials are an integral part of their watch design. They must complement the design, protect the movement, and withstand the test of time. Therefore, the manufacture has chosen to utilize high-tech ceramic for select bezels and cases – an exceptionally durable and virtually scratch-resistant material (with the exception of diamond) based on zirconium, which is sintered at extremely high temperatures.
